Novel Coronavirus has the whole world social distancing. It’s truly surreal times. I’m in New York where it’s ground zero of the pandemic in the US so I haven’t left the apartment, I get the news from the internet. In order not to obsess about how bad things are, I browse the web for light-hearted fun stuff also. And the internet seems to be inspiring a lot of people to bake bread during this time. So much so that now there is a shortage of yeast! But somehow I had some yeast in the pantry so before I knew it, I was baking bread too. In the past, I’ve had more fails than successes when baking anything with yeast. But the famous no-knead bread recipe worked! Here you go, I think I’m a baker now.
