I like looking out the window of an airplane, even if it’s a view I’ve seen countless times. Tonight was a clear winter night flying in from Miami. Isn’t she pretty? From this height, it looks like New York, how it was. But New York is still trying to regain its former glory after the pandemic. I’ve been living in New York for way too long, so it’s time for a change in scenery. Will I miss this? Maybe, but I’ll just be less than 3 hours away.

飛行機の窓から景色を眺めるのって飽きないよね。もう数えきれないほど見てきたこのニューヨーク、今晩はくっきりと綺麗に見えるのは冬の晴れているとーっても寒い日だから。この距離から眺めるとパンデミック前のニューヨークに見えるけど実際はまだいまいち前の様に復帰しきれてないのよね。私も随分長く住んでしまったからそろそろ気分転換にマイアミに住みに行こうかな。帰って来たくなったら飛行機で3時間もかからないし！
