Sakura Sakura

I hadn’t been back to Japan during sakura season in years, and this visit felt especially magical. I caught peak bloom in Kyoto and had the chance to attend the Miyako Odori, where Maiko and Geiko perform their graceful dances each spring. Surrounded by sakura in full bloom, I couldn’t help but feel that the Maiko and Geiko were like living flowers themselves—delicate, refined, and fleetingly beautiful, just like the season.
