It’s that time of year again in Miami. The art world descends on Miami Beach for Art Basel and Miami Art Week—and suddenly, everything is electric. The outfits are wild (sometimes genius, sometimes confusing), and art is everywhere. Whether it’s breathtaking or just plain bizarre… well, that’s for you to decide. This year’s installation at the Faena really captured the spirit of the week: Es Devlin’s “Library of Us”, a glowing, mirrored bookshelf pyramid reflecting the crowd back at itself. A little philosophical, a little selfie-ready—very Miami Art Week. Oh, and don’t forget: if you’re trying to cross the causeway this week, pack your patience (and maybe a snack).

今年もマイアミのこの季節がやってきましたね。世界中から人が押し寄せるマイアミ・アートウィーク、そしてアート・バーゼル。街の空気はどこかピリッとエネルギッシュで、人々のファッションは二度見必至。街の至るところにアートが溢れていて、それが素晴らしいか、それともただの「？」かは、見る人次第。今年のFAENAのインスタレーションは、エス・デヴリンの《Library of Us》。鏡面仕上げの三角型の本棚が、自分たち自身を映し出すような仕掛けで、マイアミ・アートウィークの空気感にぴったり。ちなみに、この週に causeway を渡ろうとする人へ一言：覚悟とスナックを忘れずに。
