February 8: Cooking Osso Buco

外食が多いけどたまには自分で料理したくなるのよね〜今晩はイタリアン、ミラノ風にオッソブーコ作ってみました!リゾットの代わりにマッシュポテトにしちゃったけど。我ながら美味く出来たよん!って結構ご機嫌です。お肉も時間かけて煮たからフォークだけで食べれちゃう柔らかさで美味しいんだけど私が目当てなのはやっぱり骨髄!スプーンで取り出してパンに乗せて粗塩とパセリでぱくっ!ん〜作った甲斐があった!問題はあと何食同じごはん食べないと作った分が食べおわらないかしら。。。

I eat out a lot. But once in a while, I get the urge to cook! It’s cold out so I wanted something hearty. So I made Osso Buco Milanese (though cheated a little by replacing the risotto with mashed potatoes). I’ve always loved scooping out the bone marrow and eating it with a sprinkle of parsley and sea salt. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious but the bone marrow was still the highlight for me. Now the only problem is… how many times do I have to repeat this meal to finish everything I made?
