Lately, I’ve taken up figure drawing again. I used to go to a studio in New York a long time ago, and I’m happily reminded how much fun it is! On days that there is no studio session, Sherlock has been kind enough to model for me. He’s not very good at staying still, or he might just sit in my sketchbook that I meant to use for drawing him. But all is good practice.

最近また絵を描いてます。昔ニューヨークのアトリエ通っていた頃があって絵を描くのがどんなに面白いか、楽しいかを思い出しました。スタジオのセッションが無い日には家の猫さんがモデルになってくれてます。なかなかじっとして居てくれないかったりスケッチブックの紙の上で寝ちゃったりでチャレンジングだけどいい猫との暮らし方かな。
