It looks like it’s sea turtle nesting season again. This is the first nest I saw this year, and I’m hoping to see lots more! And maybe this year, I will be lucky enough to see the babies return to the sea. Keeping my fingers crossed! With this, the weather is getting very summery and the days are longer. I need to start waking up earlier, closer to sunrise, to walk on the beach. It also means the mosquitos are back. At least they are not the gazillion cicadas that are emerging this year?

今シーズン初の海亀の巣です。これから沢山みれるといいな。今年こそ卵から孵って海に向かっていく姿見れるかな？このシーズンもあってここの天気はもうまるで夏で日も長くなりました。ビーチ散歩も日の出近くに起きなくては暑くなりすぎてきました。あと蚊も出てくるんだろうな。蚊よけ買っとかなくては！少なくとも、今年出現している無数のセミではないからよかったかな？
