Finally! We saw a manatee. This manatee was at the pier a few steps from the house. Isn’t he (?) the cutest? Manatees are apparently all over southern Florida, but because they don’t peek out of the water as much as dolphins, they’ve been so hard to spot. This totally made my day. Fun fact, did you know manatees fart in order to move underwater? I find that so adorably funny.

やっと会えたよ！マナティー！見て、この可愛さ。それも家のすぐそばのピアーをのんびり散歩（？）していたの。南フロリダには沢山居るらしいけどイルカのように水から飛び出ているとこがないからなかなか見れなくって。今回やっと会えました！知っていた？マナティーはオナラで水の中で前に進んだり潜ったりするんだよ。かわいすぎる！
