December 11: Pork shoga yaki craving

豚の生姜焼きって時々すごく食べたくなるのよね。だからたまに作ります!一番早いし簡単だもんね!炊きたてご飯と一緒に食べると超満足!でも止まらない!

I get this craving for pork shoga yaki sometimes. And it’s such a quick and easy dish to prepare. So this is what happens! Perfect lunch food and such a lovely match with fresh steamed rice. Itadakima~su!
How to: have thinly sliced pork butt (or any thinly sliced pork meat, really) bathe in soy sauce, sake, mirin, and grated GINGER for 30 mins ~ 1 hour. Or while waiting for the rice to cook. Then sauté some onions, add the pork along with a table spoon or so of the marinade, cook. Serve on steamed rice. Eat!
