Pastis was one of those restaurants that I always found myself in since they opened back in 1999 and changed the Meatpacking District in NY. After being closed for a few years, they reopened just a block away from the original. The restaurant looks the same and feels the same. And it tastes the same along with some updates to the menu. Canned Sardines and Beurre Bordier and some good crusty bread. This is deliciousness I can eat every day. But not all canned sardines are the same, and exceptional butter really is really special.

1999年にミートパッキングに開いたレストラン、Pastisは心地よくっていつも行ってたな。2014年に閉まっちゃった時はとても残念でした。そんなレストランが去年前のロケーションのすぐ側にリオープン!そしてまたよく行くレストランに戻りました。内装も雰囲気もそれにメニューも前と同じ感じで嬉しい。今回はイワシの缶詰にボーディエバター、それに田舎パン。これにハマった〜!旨いのよ〜。
