Fugu, blowfish, is always a treat and this family run restaurant (which ended up being a private dinner), we never would have found had we not stayed at this particular AirBnB in Tokyo. This was the best fugu I had ever had. It was eye opening. The sashimi, delicate with a nice texture you can sink your teeth in, wrap a few strands of this bright green negi that has a sweetness with a piece of fugu and it’s so good you realize you hadn’t had real fugu until now. What a treat!

ふぐ食べるのはいつも嬉しいことだよね。今回日本であまり外出しない中でも泊まっていたAirbnbの目の前にとても気になるふぐ屋さんをみつけて行ってみました。他のお客さんはいなくて安心できる環境でいまだかつてない素晴らしいふぐを食べれました。まるで初めて食べるぐらい今まで食べてきたふぐと格が違いました。ひれ酒飲みながら、ふぐさしみ、ふぐの唐揚げ、焼き白子、ふぐチリ、雑炊まで食べてふぐづくしでした。日本のごはんは本当に美味しいなあ。
