Visiting Kyoto is always special, even for Japanese people. This time around it was extra special because we got to experience an evening at the most prestigious tea house! Seeing the maiko-sans and geiko-sans’ dance performance, chatting with them over sake, and even enjoying a meal at a classic Kyoto restaurant. It was all surreal as you feel like you’re transported in time and place that when you wake up the next morning, you’re not sure if it was all a dream.

京都は日本人であっても何時も何か特別な感じがしない？今回の京都はその上貴重な体験付きでした！祇園一のお茶屋さんで舞妓さんや芸妓さんとお喋りしたどすよ〜舞観賞も素敵〜本当の京都の世界を少し見せてもらいました。もちろん美味しい京都も！京都、祇園は特に、行くと夢でタイムスリップしたかのような気になって次の朝起きる感じがするなぁ。
