I love Turkish food and hoping to make a trip to Istanbul someday soon. In the meantime, I’ll have to settle for Turkish restaurants near me but there aren’t very many. This one is in Astoria and is known to have great lamb dishes. This lamb and okra stew is hard to stop eating, it’s super hearty without feeling too rich. It’s probably the tangy lemon and olive oil that’s prominent in every dish here. It’s BYOB here so bring your favorite bottle of wine!
トルコ料理って美味しいって気付いてもうしばらく経つと思うけど未だにトルコに行った事が無いのよね。早くイスタンブールに行ってみたい！その日が来るまでは身近にあるトルコ料理のレストランに。今回はニューヨークのアストリアにあるラム料理が評判のLokantaです。オクラとホロホロに煮込んだラムのシチューみたいなものです。見た感じ濃厚かなと思うけどレモンとオリーブオイルのきいた味で結構バクバク食べれちゃう。止まらない〜。くせになる味。
