Sumo, watching it live at the Ryogoku Kokugikan is a special experience. It’s much more dynamic and exciting than watching it on TV no matter how large a screen TV you have. And this experience is not complete without eating the well-known yakitori while sitting on a cushion on the floor box seats! You can (and should) pre-order the omiyage gift set when you get your sumo tickets. The set (for one) normally contains a makunouchi bento, yakitori, anmitsu, cookies, sumo shaped chocolates, rice crackers and other snacks, and a mug, bowl, or plate with sumo art.
