August 23: L’Atelier de Jöel Robuchon

お友達がNYのラテリエ・ドゥ・ジョエル・ロブションでスーシェフのお仕事を始めました!早速遊びに食べに行ってきましたよ!色々な季節に合った美味しいもの沢山!暫く前に行った時も素敵なディナーでご機嫌だったけどお友達が居るとまた違う楽しみが加わって楽しさ2倍!もう食べれないって思うくらい食べているのにやっぱりデザートは別腹。自分からあまりオーダーしなさそうなデザートを進められて頼んでみたらこんなに面白いデザートが出て来たよ!それに美味しいの!黄色い綿菓子はバナナの味!それと一緒にチョコレートムース。楽しい締めくくりでニコニコしながら家に帰りました。

Our friend started working at L’Atelier de Jöel Robuchon as a sous chef! So what’s a friend to do than immediately go eat at the restaurant? 🙂 It’s been a while since ShoeLady and I went to eat here and had a fabulous dinner. This time around, it was just as exciting and fabulous with an added perk of going to see a friend do what she does best! We had so much to eat, all seasonal and wonderful. Just when I thought I couldn’t take another bite, it was dessert time and magically, there is room in my stomach. I took the suggestion of the server and ordered L’Banane. Not something I might naturally order. Out came this fun cloud of yellow! It was banana cotton candy! Loved it! in the center was chocolate mousse with a cute butterfly perched on top. It was a very nice end to a dinner and it put a youthful hop in my step when going home.
