Toraya is an iconic Japanese confectionery store since the 16th century. And everyone has their favorite yokan from here. Mine is your-no-yume 🤤 At their Akasaka flagship store, there’s a cafe where you can have many of their signature wagashi with some matcha. Just go early bec they sell out of everything by the afternoon! I had some awazenzai this time with a lovely preparation of matcha.
虎屋の羊羹、あなたは何派？私は絶対に夜の梅！「マツコの知らない世界」で虎屋工房観てから凄い行ってみたいけど遠いのでまたいつか。羊羹を買えるお店は沢山あるけどどうせならかっこいい赤坂の虎屋菓寮へ行ってみよう、でそこでお茶しましょ！お茶には粟善哉をつけて頂きました〜😋他にも本当はそこで造られてる和菓子が有るけど行った頃には全部売切れ、ここは早く行かないとですね。
