Hello Japan! Happy New Year! But only almost since we are on our way to a government-mandated quarantine hotel for the next six days (and 8 more days to self-quarantine). Despite that, happy to be here. Japanese New Year celebrations feel most special. Lots of traditions, aspirations, and most of all, great New Year’s food which we’ll enjoy a little delayed this year.

ハロー日本！富士山！明けましておめでとうございます！日本に着いたことは着いたけどまだこれから６日間強制隔離ホテル行きです（そのあとは自宅隔離が8日間）。それでも日本で過ごせるお正月は嬉しいな。何処よりもお正月は日本。伝統的な習慣も素敵だし日本で始めると良い年になるかなぁって気がするし、やっぱりお正月の食べ物！遅れて食べるけどお節楽しみだな。
